What you need to know before you start:

Coordinates are a pair of numbers that are used to chart points on a grid. Example; the coordinates (4, 2) are used to show a position.

The first number (4) shows how far to move along the horizontal axis ("x" axis) while the second number (2) shows how far up the vertical axis ("y" axis) the point is.

Directions:

Hint: If you know how to play the game "Battleship" you will know how to play "Pop the Bubble."

  1. Both players draw 1 bubble anywhere on the "ME" section of their grids without the other seeing. The bubble should cover 2 - 4 coordinates.
  2. Player A guesses the coordinates of Player B's bubble. Each player keeps track of his/her own guesses so none are repeated. Do this by recording the coordinates you guessed on the "My Guesses" section of the grid.
  3. To break the other player's bubble you must guess each coordinate covered by his/her bubble.
  4. You must say "HIT" when the other player guesses the correct coordinates of your bubble. Mark each "hit" on your bubble with an "X.".
  5. When all coordinates of your bubble are guessed you must say "POP."
  6. The first player to pop the bubble (guess all bubble coordinates) is the winner.
